Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Eric Wright was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of DUI after allegedly being involved in an accident involving injury in downtown Los Angeles.
Wright’s Mercedes was apparently involved in a collision with a pickup truck sometime after midnight.
According to police, Wright told them he had been drinking prior to the accident. He allegedly refused to take a Breathalyzer test.
Wright was not injured in the accident, but the driver of the pickup apparently complained of pain even though he ultimately refused treatment.
Wright was booked on a felony DUI charge because the accident involved injuries.
