Man Riding Horse Charged with DUI in Bunnell :: Whittel & Melton

1042348_a_rider.jpgA 29-year-old Flagler County man received a DUI Friday for allegedly being intoxicated while on a galloping horse.

According to police, the man led them on a chase in downtown Bunnell for more than five hours. They apparently had to stop traffic and a train on US-1 when he rode onto the tracks.

Reports indicate that the chase ended when the man’s father caught up to the man
and tackled him off of the horse.

The man apparently ran into the woods, but was eventually chased out by a police K-9.
